Raised points help shield the coating from direct utensil contact.
The microdot matrix adds a physical protection layer above the coated cooking surface. It is engineered to reduce concentrated abrasion while supporting consistent food release.

Physical structure plus ceramic release.
Shangwey combines precision-etched raised microdots with the KFCC G8 ceramic system. The structure is designed for cookware programs that need a differentiated surface story and practical durability positioning.
- Raised matrix reduces direct scraping across the coated plane
- Ceramic layer supports lower-oil cooking and easier release
- Specification options for brand and channel requirements
Tri-ply construction for controlled, even heat.
An 18/10 stainless steel interior, aluminum core and magnetic stainless steel exterior create a versatile body for induction, gas, electric and ceramic stovetops. OEM programs can be specified at 2.5 mm for a balanced weight and cost position, or 3.5 mm for greater rigidity and thermal mass. The final production thickness is confirmed in the signed specification.

Three pan types. Three different approaches.
A sourcing-level comparison of typical construction choices. Final performance depends on each supplier’s confirmed body, coating and test specification.

Questions sourcing teams ask before sampling.
These answers are written for OEM, private-label and distributor discussions rather than consumer warranty claims.
What is the cookware body structure?
The proposed construction is tri-ply: an 18/10 stainless steel cooking layer, an aluminum heat-distribution core and a magnetic stainless steel exterior. This gives buyers a full-body induction structure instead of relying only on a bonded induction disc. Handle, exterior finish and lid configuration are confirmed in the project specification.
Why offer 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm instead of a typical 2.0–2.3 mm body?
Many price-led cookware programs use approximately 2.0–2.3 mm bodies. When body design, forming and heat control are insufficient, a thinner construction can be more susceptible to base distortion during repeated high-heat cycling. The 2.5 mm option balances weight, cost and rigidity; the 3.5 mm option adds greater structural stability and thermal mass for premium cookware positioning.
What makes this suitable for a premium cookware program?
The product combines a tri-ply stainless steel body, selectable 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm thickness, the KFCC G8 ceramic system, a 0.4 mm raised microdot matrix and a supporting documentation package. These elements create a more defensible product story than a conventional thin, flat-coated aluminum pan.
How is G8 Microdot different from a conventional coated pan?
The raised microdot matrix creates defined contact points above the coated plane and helps reduce direct utensil contact across the coating. Conventional coated pans generally rely on a flat exposed coating surface. The microdot structure and KFCC G8 ceramic layer are engineered as one system.
Is the coating made without PFAS and PTFE?
The supplied G8 coating documentation includes PFAS Free report RT25R-S7990-E3 and Halogen, PFOA and PFOS report RT25R-S7990-E2. Report applicability is matched to the approved coating and final production specification.
Is the pan dishwasher safe?
Dishwasher testing is referenced under BS EN 12875, report TUV SZ 168482232 HHQ01. The final dishwasher statement used on packaging and product pages must match the approved handle, coating, accessory and production configuration.
Will food residue remain between the microdots?
The matrix is designed as a controlled raised pattern rather than deep open grooves. Normal washing can reach the coated plane between the dots. Cleaning instructions and dishwasher claims should be confirmed against the approved production sample.
Can metal utensils be used?
The raised points help reduce direct contact with the coated plane, but no cookware surface is damage-proof. Any metal-utensil claim should be based on the selected dot height, coating system and agreed abrasion protocol; suitable care guidance is supplied for the final program.
Which stovetops and oven conditions are supported?
The tri-ply body can be specified for induction, gas, electric and ceramic stovetops. Oven suitability and maximum temperature depend on the selected handle, knob, lid and coating specification and are confirmed before packaging claims are approved.
Which certificates and reports are available?
The buyer package can include G8 coating FDA, PFAS Free, RoHS, REACH, EC 1935/2004 and LFGB reports; G8 Microdot LFGB; BS EN 12875 dishwasher testing; and applicable market documents. Report numbers are listed in the compliance section above.
Is the microdot technology patented?
The supplied documentation lists the microdot nonstick cookware patent ZL 2025 2 0824566.X. G8 coating compliance is supported by separate report numbers. A coating-specific patent statement should only be added when its corresponding patent certificate is provided for the project.
Can the design be customized for our brand?
Yes. OEM and ODM options can include diameter, 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm body thickness, handle, exterior finish, color, logo application, packaging and cookware-family extension. Final performance claims and test files are aligned with the approved sample and destination market.
